Vidyasagar...At a Glance

Nestled amidst the hills, vidyasagar in Bhicholi Mradana , is an English Medium, CBSE affiliated school where in adition to English , due weightage is given to the languages like hindi and sanaskrit also.

Vidyasagar – at a distance of 5kms from Indore, echoes as it were the words of the Greek Monk:-

“In the outer world you struggle to preserve yourself for another day, but here one prepares for eternity”.

Partially chilly in winters, Vidyasagar offers to its pupil’s cool atmosphere and naturals charm at once, solemn and pristine, far from the maddening world outside.

The institution is run by Vidyasagar Society and was established in the year 1991. At present the school is having a built up area of over 1.5 lac sq. ft.; in addition, the school has well planned gardens and lawns.

Our students like to come to school and learn new ways of thinking. Gone are the days when students used to diligently copy lessons. At Vidyasagar teachers are keen to build creative skills in their students.

We teach our young pupils the method of acquiring knowledge rather than the rote based curricula. A more ‘hands on work’ approach is encouraged .Our teachers have taken on the challenge to bring about this change. Even our progress cards reflect these changes.

Teachers, besides teaching the prescribed curriculum are passionately involved in organizing activities which will bring out the spontaneity of our students free thinking and expression of their hard work and dreams. Through encouraging and guiding even the weaker pupils by praising and complementaing their achievements we endeavor to instill confidence in them.
