Vidyasagar School is a CBSE-affiliated institution run by the Vidyasagar Society and was established in the year 1991. At present, the school is having an area of 20 acres. With green surroundings, manicured gardens, and a huge building nestled at the backdrop of hills, Vidyasagar located in Bhicholi Mardana is an English Medium, Co-educational, Residential, CBSE affiliated school. The growing minds prepare themselves for the future with serious studies which are interspersed with fun games, energizing activities like swimming, yoga, skating, and soul rejuvenating music classes and art and craft.
Keeping with the ever-changing competitive world, the school has recently established ‘Science Park‘ where the students have regular access to various apparatus through which they easily understand the Principles of science. Furthermore, to enable the students to develop their language skills ‘Language Lab’ has been introduced. The school has access to the most modern technologies of computers, which serve the globally required blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. Treasured with books of enormous quantity, the school library provides the students with ready access to knowledge on various subjects and the latest books of eminent authors, educational CDs, DVDs, and CDs and the leading Newspapers, Journals, Weekly and Fortnightly Magazines, etc.
The school provides world-class facilities for sports including Football, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Basketball, Cricket, Hockey, Athletics and Table Tennis, Badminton, Yoga and Swimming. The school has 32 buses that cover the entire city and surrounding areas. To ingrain etiquettes, table manners and social engagement special classes are held. Children are served simple, nutritious, balanced variety of dishes prepared in spacious, clean and modern kitchen equipped with Solar Heaters etc. For providing most comfortable boarding and lodging facilities, based on the ultra modern concept of education, Vidyadham and New Boys Hostel have been constructed. Hostel inmates, both boys and girls stay under constant guidance of qualified teachers and staff in separate buildings.
Imparting education, we also want the students to make them understand the prominence of festivals and culture of our country thus the school celebrates Independence Day, Republic Day and Gandhi and Shashtri Jayanti. Apart from the national festivals the school also celebrates Deepawali, Dussehra, Christmas, Eid, Navratri, Ganesh Chaturthi, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day, Vidyasagar Jayanti, Cultural Week, Annual Day and Sports Week making education process- a celebrating event. Vidyasagar School, thus exercises and strives for creation of an impartial strong moral character. Here the education enhances perpetual growth and development which dispel the darkness of ignorance and train the individual minds for individual harmony and nation’s well being.

The Almighty of Education Inspires
Every day when the students enter the premises, their eyes turn in this direction, their heads bowed, and in this way, another day of learning begins.
The entire school bows in respect to the Ocean of Knowledge and an honorable scholar – Shri Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Ji. The humble man was not only an eminent scholar but also a reformist who worked to reform the Indian Society by working for eradicating of cruel rituals such as polygamy, and child marriage & introduced the practice of widow marriage. His efforts took India on the path of higher education & gave us what we are following in the present day’s education system.

Vidyasagar School, Indore is a school which strives for educational excellence and at the same time provides an opportunity to develop inherent talent of each student to make each one responsible towards self and society. An approach that caters to a varied range of individual differences, capabilities and strives to provide ample opportunities to enjoy the learning experience while integrating generic skills, values and attitudes in key learning areas.
I asked a wise man, “Tell me sir, which field could I make a great career?” He said with a smile “Be a good human being. There is a huge opportunity in this area and very little competition.”
Brilliance in academics is not enough for a student to become a responsible human being. For us, True education focuses on the Holistic approach whereby the child’s learning is enhanced through enriched play experiences encouraging curiosity, exploration and a sense of appreciation for Literature and creative expressions. The objective is to foster creativity.It is a constant desire to do something better that makes a contribution to oneself and to others too. So, the one who thinks of newness can bring about such a contribution. Students have time and again proved us right.
